ASSESSORS QUALIFICATION
Award or Certificate In Assessing Vocational and Occupational Achievements
The aims and objectives of this programme is to impart initial training requirements to enable trainee assessors, to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to carry out assessments. Upon successful completion of the training and with evidence that the skills and knowledge have been successfully applied in the workplace, the delegate would be eligible to conduct workplace assessments, providing they themselves are technically competent in the discipline being assessed.
Target Group
For workplace managers, trainers and individual who are interested in assessing in a learning environment and or in the workplace. The full qualification makes you an all rounder to assess Apprenticeships technical training, all types of work-based assessing and as well assess in all other training environment.

How is this Course Delivered?
All of these courses are offered both via our online learning platform ElsOnline and Offline (Physical) which are supported with interactive resources and webinars to cover the key topics where you can interact with a tutor and your peers. You will be supported throughout by one of our tutors who will review your progress.

We will do a full diagnostic assessment with you to give a comprehensive picture of your gaps in learning and then create an individualised learning plan to meet your specific needs, concentrating on what areas you need improvement.

Assessors Training Course Content
All 3 units will give you a Certificate in Assessing

You will be able to assess in a wide range of training and vocational area.

You will understand the principle of assessing and the process of assessments.

As with PTLLS- teaching qualification- the Assessor's course itself is more about learning the technical details of the QCF/NVQ assessing frameworks and the minutiae of assessment theory and practice so it is relevant to all disciplines and industries although you would need to have occupational experience or qualification to assess some sector standards.
